An 11-member Parish Pastoral Council was recently installed for the St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Agona Swedru in the Cape Coast Archdiocese, by Very Rev. Fr. Bonaventure Annan, Vicar General of the Archdiocese.
They are Mr. Kwesi Aggrey, Chairman; Mr. Ebenezer Mensah, Vice Chairman; Mr. Godwin Nortey, Secretary and Ms. Anna Ennin, Assistant Secretary.
Other members are Mr. Francis Klu, Ms. Elizabeth Ayensu, Mr. Emmanuel Kofi Nyame, Mr. Maxwell Asomaning, Mr. Joshua Ali, Mr. Robert Asomaning and Mr. Isaac Quarm.
Fr. Annan urged the new members to work in harmony and bring their expertise to bare in the development of the Church.
Mr. Aggrey thanked the Priests and the lay faithful for the confidence reposed in them and promised that he and his team would work hard for the progress of the Church.
The Out-going PPC Chairman, Mr. D.V Essel, expressed gratitude to the faithful for the support and co-operation during his tenure and asked that same be extended to the new members.
